Thesian Bio awarded the i-Lab grant to advance multi-cell in vivo CAR therapy for solid tumors

We are proud to announce that Thesian Bio has been awarded the i-Lab grant, part of the French national innovation competition run by Bpifrance and the Ministry of Higher Education and Research under France 2030.

Solid tumors remain out of reach for most cell therapies. Relapse is driven mainly by two things: an immunosuppressive tumor microenvironment, and tumor cells that lose the antigen being targeted. Our platform addresses both. A single intravenous administration engineers armed CAR-T cells, CAR-macrophages and CAR-dendritic cells directly in the patient. Each cell type attacks the tumor in a different way, and together they reinforce one another against the escape routes that defeat single-cell approaches.

The i-Lab grant will fund the preclinical work that takes our lead program toward the clinic. We thank Bpifrance, the Ministry of Higher Education and Research, and everyone who supported our application.
